Conclusion

To conclude my research, I recapped everything I had researched: the basic anatomy of the brain, the name of this procedure, the positives and negatives of a brain transplant,  and a similar procedure, a head transplant. I came to the conclusion that at this moment of time, that both a brain transplant and head transplant are not ethically justified. There are too many questions left unanswered, technology that has not been invented yet that would allow this procedure to occur, and not enough clinical trials for man kind to predict the outcomes of either procedure. Once it is possible to heal a spinal cord injury that had caused paralysis, these procedures would be the next step. Until then, these ideas are unfeasible and should not be attempted.
